Welcome (Intro)
02:45
|
|||
Bismillah (In the Name of God)
Ladies and gentlemen welcome to The Elements
Fire, Air, Water, Earth
The Elements
Nature, and lovers
And science, and summers
And lions, and hunters
I will not be above
The rest I, be humble
And One Love,
I will be
the last one
to swim deep
In the deep end where I can't swim
In this big blue vast and calming
Soul-Ocean
And I sleep and dream about
My pen and paper think about writin
poems
The canvas is the paper and the mindspace with the pen are the potions
Like magic
I make entire worlds so vibrant that I'm just so gone
Ay yo it's verbal alchemy
I'm usin' abtruse words absurd to create magic see
The canvas leaves, I stampen thee
I can talk about governments
The corruption of just some of them,
Or nothingness, destruction of the crumbling
Ruins of my heart, darkened by the evil wind that society has brought
And I was always taught to share with others, create peace, and avoid drugs
But my nation has become such that it became commonplace
But soon shall be the day when it will become just too late
The Last Day will surely come
So before that happens, listen to what the Prophet said
Through my rhymes I educate, create an abstract world
Through which those without a voice can now be suddenly heard
And I will
Teach through my rhymes
Speak
With the time that it takes
To say what I've got to say
And this is not the ending or the beginning
It's a page
In the book of ruminations
That I created today
And I hope you will all listen
And make your own book, hey
This is AcidFlow
Featuring The Elements

Spirit Song
02:15
|
|||
You all can call me army of two,
And not the videogame, but I'm sorry it's true
Like Yin and Yang, my one soul is split insane
On a different plane, my spirit sang
Songs of hidden pain, till the cirrus came, with wind and rain
On my window pane.
And I speak about what I'm saying,
Still the same,
With some wave-lengths that go and hit your brain.
With some strange truth about my spirit, man.
And the same roots are in the winter plains
Of tree-trunks that don't have any dinner man.
Too much humus.
And the losers become the true winners when
False illusions in my ocean swim away.
And tutors became students, and learnt a lot from the page
Of Confucius and the stupor of the mantra overcame.
And true wisdom came from winter bringin' us ice blizzard-rain.
But the spirit sang a deeper song, wit red fire hittin' flame.
My soul's singing deeper like Aretha sings in my speaker tone.
And the shadows hidden creep up when I'm sleeping and think of sheeps in dome.
Then I'm on my deeper zone
And I never speak alone
'Cuz I got a secret clone,
None of y'all had even known.
He produce my deeper poems.
And the soul, rise
With the strength of burning suns.
I'm hopin that you stay on paths
Of
Greatness 'cuz the light is bliss
And darkness will recite its hiss
(So bright)
So hiding from the tide of life
(I will not see)
Will not be something in your sight
(Precious like the stars)
So look up at the stars tonight
(I see it with the spirits in my soul)
Open your eyes.
Light will defeat dark.

This world that I see through
The lens of the people
With nearsighted vision
That hinders their living
Truth isn’t given
Through your television;
It’s just a window that promotes more division.
The physical presence of light bearing essence
Is never acknowledged by those who don’t get it.
Forget it,
What’s the point of me telling you, if you’re never gonna listen?
The heart and the intellect must align for you to ascend with the mystics
Fear of the unknown
Is keeping you trapped in a bubble of comfort,
But growth won’t relax.
And perhaps,
It’s your path to relapse and repeat,
But retreat and surrender do equal defeat.
Don’t give up the pursuit
If it feels right then do it.
The nay sayers naysay unless you can prove it.
But proof isn’t clear
For those who pretend though
It’s harder to see through their broken windows.
The window refracts
All the light and collapses
The fright of Iraqis
And sight of the tank beast
And Heaven is through broken windows, it's true
Remember the proof, that you into it too
It's easy to see if you gold or you simple
A symbol that singles the sinners alone
If the broken window is bigger than your home
And it opens, then spoken is Lord of the Throne
Listen homes,
That's when you know that you passed
All your tests
So relax
All the rest
Is the past
And the best is the present,
So never fall back.
And what if you could
Moves yo' shoes and
Get in tune with
Inner spirit?
And the truth's from
Revolution
Wisdom clear it rings,
Ya' hear it
And the soul transmuted golden,
Always rowin' on this ocean
To the destination of slayin' our Satans.
We bracin' for snakes but we came here for tamin'.
Workin mystics, and ascetics, move away cuz we are blessed with
True secrets of ether, that the people speak of
But they guessed it.
And sleepers that reproduce the dreams of those
Not on the guest-list
(Whispered) Of Heaven
(In Background):
Let him take me...
(Singing)
...Home, home
My feet don't wanna go roam, roam
Just wanna sit beside home
And I will always be peering through
Broken Windows
Broken Windows
Broken Windows

I'm walkin' about a road
Talkin' about the gold
At the end of this lonely road
I'm walkin about so slow
And stoppin' to look at snow (snow)
Hoppin' inside the shore (shore)
Lookin' at all the scores
Of heavenly sights in store (store)
Is this reality a paradox?
A sample b, to stare above?
You sharin' love, you care enough?
About humans, humanity, it's scarin' us
How it's rapidly and tragically
Transforming to insanity
And vanity
The tapestry of life has been stained black and see
Our actions we, be snappin' on each other
Army captains leave to smack some deep
Harrassment see when Afghans bleed
And Iraqis, Sri Lankans b, the Tamils bleed
And Somalis, East Africa, Italians had done captured see
Attackin people, but let's just have some peace
(Chorus)
Highway
Takin' off on and then
I say
That's when I see sun-
Rise, day
Brought upon us by,
Yahweh
And I pray for peace
Allah give me peace (x5)
Movin' about the sky
Too many people die
And mistakin' all the statements though
'Till truth is a bunch of lies
And I'm asking myself just why
And relax and remember ride
Through the sad in November, crackling embers
Highway of our lives
My GPS is set to reach a final destination, I’ve traveled for some time the road is just a test of patience.
Follow the signs and signals, trust the divine will bring you, guidance to help you on your path by meeting different people
It’s not enough to want it, you have to seek and find, request awareness for recognition of truth in time
You have the vehicle, the vessel that you’re breathing through, the openings you’re seeing through, aren’t all there is to me and you
They say life is a journey, it’s not a destination, so what’s your navigation, love and light or fear and hatred
The point I’m trying to make is the time is now to take the path of peace; the cheek on either side has to be turned adjacent
I’m not anti violence, nor am I anti war, I choose to say I am pro peace; that's what I'm driving for?
Your tires must be balanced; the road will push and pull, Love is the fuel source, make sure your tank is full.
(Chorus)
Highway
Takin' off on and then
I say
That's when I see sun-
Rise, day
Brought upon us by,
Yahweh
And I pray for peace
Allah give me peace (x5)
Movin' about the sky
Too many people die
And mistakin' all the statements though
'Till truth is a bunch of lies
And I'm asking myself just why
And relax and remember ride
Through the sad in November, crackling embers
Highway of our lives
You're a slave to lustful
Desires therefore
The poor are ignored
While you rule with bellies full.
I pray to keep my distance from the sickness of your soul.
'Cause greed is disease of the heart with no control
From Congo to Tibet
Palestine to Mozambique
The weak are often silenced for the freedom that they seek
But they won't accept defeat
Rather die standing
Than live on bended knees
Enslaved to the laws
Of a corrupt regime
Yeah we pray to live in peace
Awaiting for the day to see
All our children running free
But will that truly ever be?
Will we ever know?
Maybe when our soul
Travels deep to the unknown
Then we'll realize
There's another place to go
Depending on the deeds
Accumulated in this road
Reaping what we sow
The struggle of the self
Is like a preparation
For the next abode
Por isso eu tento
Sentir a Tua dor
Rimando pra alcancar
A Justica e o amor!
(And that is why
I try to feel your pain
Rhyming to establish
Justice & Love)
(Chorus)
Highway
Takin' off on and then
I say
That's when I see sun-
Rise, day
Brought upon us by,
Yahweh
And I pray for peace
Allah give me peace (x5)
Movin' about the sky
Too many people die
And mistakin' all the statements though
'Till truth is a bunch of lies
And I'm asking myself just why
And relax and remember ride
Through the sad in November, crackling embers

Spittin rhyme-schemes to change your mind, seen.
Like hittin Seinfield to changin' lines see
Sit inside TV, ain't no stoppin the epitome of the conscious speak
It's poetry, a poet speaks through my leaves, a poet-tree
The Elements,
but that's why I'm never settlin
For anything that's lesser than
Most glorious perfection and
Oh snap. Time for prayer.
Allahu Akbar (God is the Greatest)
Allahu Akbar (God is the Greatest)
Allahu Akbar (God is the Greatest)
Allahu Akbar (God is the Greatest)
Ash-hadu alaa illaha ilAllah
(I bear witness that there is no God except Allah)
Ash-hadu alaa illaha alAllah
(I bear witness that there is no God except Allah)
Ash-hadu anna Muhammadur Rasulullah
(I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah)
Ash-hadu anna Muhammadur Rasulullah
(I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah)
Hayya'alas Salah (Come to Prayer)
Hayya'alas Salah (Come to Prayer)
Hayya'alal Falah (Come to Success)
Hayya'alal Falah (Come to Success)
Allahu Akbar (God is the Greatest)
Allahu Akbar (God is the Greatest)
Laa ilaha illAllah (There is no God except Allah)

Way Of The Seekers
02:19
|
|||
I use big words 'cuz my vocabulary is large
...See, it's tragic (very) that we start
Off in Montessori, with a lot
Of words,
So absurd that now to be heard, you can't be a nerd
But my vocabulary is large
So I leave my adversaries all scarred
And I'm tappin' every button to restart
Life but it happens to be, so far
Off and in between
Lyrical symmetry, never illiteracy,
I'll start a revolution to the stars
To underground, to mainstream, but they scream
All in awe
'Cuz we come around, and then they'll see trains steam, railroad cars
We tearin' up the track to the end from the start
I spit conscious reality
And mainstream spit slave schemes
Of nonsense insanity
Quite insanely
Like Rihanna be
But maybe, just maybe, some day be the sunrise when they see
That knowledge is the greatest weapon under the heavens and it saved me.
And I'm reppin' no one but me and my precious weapon, my baby.
And in seconds, when you heard this, y'all just slept in. HA
That's crazy
I'm still steppin' while y'all restin', Devil crept in, he don't phase me
And then I proceeded to teach him a deeper sly lesson.
See intelligence makes you among the eminent.
But not asking any questions and staying ignorant 'aint never bliss.
The pen is mightier than the sword, and the mind is more precious than the gold.
Knowledge, perception, lessons from the best in
perfection of intentions, while we in adolescence.
Abstract concepts are child's play
Add math content to your mindstate
We spittin' metaphors to keep it real in this
Ebedded gold by lettin' go of lesser ropes
forever go to pseudo-bliss
'Cuz ignorance ain't bliss, and synonyms are hissed
like a snake atop a mountaintop strikes without a fist
At any livin' creature that dares to evoke its hiss
Knowledge is the secret, and this road just leads to sheep herders and sea-ether
Valleys, deep-feeder fish, in fresh water streams of bliss
Follow this,
This is the Way of the Seekers,
This is the Way of the Seekers.
(Outro):
The philosopher Socrates had taught for us to realize our ignorance.
But today's society so dumbed down it's just ridiculous
|
||||
8. |
||||
And when I see the world for what it is
So absurd, I..
..break down the barriers
Of culture and my area
So much hysteria, so I'm ridin' out my chariot
To Arabia and Syria, lands of the Sharia
And then to Africa, and lands of malaria
Then Saskathewan, a land of the prairy dogs
And, Venice City, the land of the ferry bus
And the way I step it, this dance gonna' carry us
To all of the world, and planned next is Barrie's up
My flight's just arrived so I should hurry up
Embrace all the whole world in my palms, dawg I'm serious
Holdin' the world in my hands, dawg I'm always palmin' it
Like the referred Atlas in Olympus when he sovereign.
Racism, the problem is that I try on stoppin' it
And solvin' it
Through the greatest example of what the Prophet did.
Muhammad did.
Peace be upon him.
So I'm coppin' it
Like an honest kid
Not a communist economist.
Nonsense is not my prerogetive.
I just Robin-spit in the hood, where I teach what Mahatma did
Or could
To the kids in the hood,
Y'all should just gain knowledge, 'cuz it's good. For your literate soul.
And make you prosperous and proper with the populace
It's flawless this
(Chorus)
Routine rides
Poutine fries
Est-que tu Francais?
Or are you from Dubai?
I can see it in your eyes
Bluer than the sky
'Cuz one more tour around this here
I fly around a plane to The Gambia
I've been all around the world
and I've noticed one thing and it's fo'sho
God works in mysterious ways
made it all beautiful
every culture's got ladies
more beautiful than centerfolds
and international cuisine
I eat until my stomach's full
I've seen the innocence in childrens' eyes
all across the globe
and it's got me wondering why
hate has a stranglehold
even tho we're different
we're all cut from the same mold
and ignorance is boring me
your arrogance is getting old
you should meet my crew
you'd say we're a UN meeting
whether we be playin' texas hold'em
or we're doin' late night eating
watching UFC
Talkin 'bout which fighters would get beaten
or we catching flicks
and discussing what we all are reading
it's more than just HI AND BYE
it's all about community
and racism's so far gone
it's like we've got immunity
the roadmap of life
and it's constantly tellin' me
to do unto others
as I'd have them do unto me
(Chorus)
Routine rides
Poutine fries
Est-que tu Francais?
Or are you from Dubai?
I can see it in your eyes
Bluer than the sky
'Cuz one more tour around this here
I fly around a plane to The Gambia
I'm on a world tour with the L of my hand,
Went straight to a girl's school in Afghanistan.
Then I rest a little while in the Fillippino Isles
And I smile 'cuz my style is to travel more miles
Then I end up in Japan, Iran, Give my Salam
To Sudan, Le France, and the Grand Can-yon
(In French)
N'importe ou,
Je parle avec tous
le langue reflet vous (And no matter where I go, I speak in the language that reflects you)
Speak the language of the soul,
In the deserts or the snow,
Never spoken, never wrote,
Only heard up in the grove
(In Arabic)
Feehaa ar-ruh,
wa laa hadha makruh,
wa maa al-habb wadood (therein the soul, not makruh, what is love, love)
And that's eternal truth.
And Mozambique has got the heat
And so does Middle East
And beach where two seas meet
And green seaweed and two tea leaves
(In Pashto)
Chartha za goram, kho alta ba zamong wal
Kason wa korum, zamoong wal dee. (Wherever I look, over there my people's houses will also be ours)
If we all live under one house of humanity.
(Chorus)
Routine rides
Poutine fries
Est-que tu Francais?
Or are you from Dubai?
I can see it in your eyes
Bluer than the sky
'Cuz one more tour around this here
I fly around a plane to The Gambia

I got nothing to live for and nothin' to die for.
Lookin' through the daily news,
Abusin' dudes who had no shoes
Pain and suffering while people were hustling in Darfur
But compare that to my homeland, I was losin and lost love, again,
So damn hardcore.
They start war,
Why do I even work hard for?
When I ran away to the land of braves, my heart tore
I used to live in the lost core of my nation Bosnia,
Just like Somalia, the way that I lived was all poor
Poverty was my father, just like that Star Wars
Millions died around me, my parents, my family swept away like mopped floors.
My mother's dying wish was for this body to be a doctor
But what for?
To help cure all the people, stuck in this lethal decietful, war monster
Whether minaret or church steeple the preachers were evil,
slayed sleepin creatures, and even, cops were
I lost everyone I knew and loved,
my aunt, my uncles, older sis, and litle bruh,
My cuz', and my father.
(Chorus)
Gotta make my dreams come true
But I just don't know what Ima do
Everytime I try to reach out
The ice puts me back to sleep
And I try
But the ice
Is too deep for me to wake
Gotta get up do whatever it takes
When I came to the USA, to get myself a new blessed way
Of livin'
Stayed away from linen
In Hotels I lived in
I was allergic
But they were allergic to me
Cuz I went to Friday sermons
They were cursin, sayin I wasn't worth it, Please
I needed that job, do you agree
That the principles of this nation tell us that all men are free?
But subliminal bigotry is the substance that yall breathe!
"Sir will you just leave!?
Get out my office 'fore I call police.
This nation, United States, this country
Isn't for little terrorist scum, you see.
You're a Muslim, little hoodlum, just go find a job in Brooklyn!"
I already told yall people I was lookin.
But when he said those words, I was so shook then.
I took ten, ways tryna make a livin,
My attempts, were waste, I was never sittin'
With business-men, racism always risen
Me dippin to a new low
And they cared only for the crude oil
I was not ready to lose though
(Chorus)
Gotta make my dreams come true
But I just don't know what Ima do
Everytime I try to reach out
The ice puts me back to sleep
And I try
But the ice
Is too deep for me to wake
Gotta get up do whatever it takes
And as I sat there feeling lonely
All alone without a job,
Had no homies, no one knows me
So I called out to my God
Oh my God!
Allow me to walk
The straight path walked upon a lot
By all your Prophets and Saints
And I saught this, I ain't gon'
Try to be another hater, I painted
My life with the sad colours of the shade blue
But later on, I had someone I could really relate to,
My saviour
And together, we as Muslim brothers we set up a Mosque
And I knew this was all happening 'cuz I called out to my God
And the haters wanna bring me down, but I would never drop
And this was just the starting point, boy I would never stop
So remember that stumbling isn't falling
And if you hustlin' keep on crawlin'
Cuz one day you gon' make it through
My statement's true
Keep that hope burnin' inside of you
It's vital dude, a survival tool
Inspirin' you to fly out soon
We gon' make it through the storm
Ice may be all around us, but our hearts are filled with warmth
(Chorus)
Gotta make my dreams come true
But I just don't know what Ima do
Everytime I try to reach out
The ice puts me back to sleep
And I try
But the ice
Is too deep for me to wake
Gotta get up do whatever it takes
